  • If I need to cancel my Monthly Investment, will I be penalised?

    No, there is no obligation to committing to monthly investments. If you do decide to cancel the standing order, there will be no fees or penalties.

  • What is the minimum to invest on a monthly basis?

    You first need to open an account with us and invest in the bond (£2,000), to invest monthly you need to commit to a minimum of £100.

  • When will I have access to the monthly investment?

    The standard Terms and Conditions apply for each investment. You will have access to the original investment plus the interest on that investment at the end of the 3-year term from the first payment.   • What if I need to change the payment date?

  • How often do I receive interest on my initial investments?

    Interest payments are paid out quarterly.

  • Can I access my investment if I change my mind?

    All investments in the Fluid Bond are subject to a 14-day cooling-off period. After this time you will not be able to access your funds until the end of the term (apart from in extreme circumstances)

  • How long is the investment term?

    The bond is held for a 3-year term.

  • Is the initial £20,000 investment through the Fluid ISA tax-free*?

    Yes, as an IF ISA, the initial £20,000 investment is treated like any other ISA held with a bank for tax purposes, and as such is not subject to tax. Please note that your £20,000 allowance is an annual limit and is shared between all ISAs you hold.

  • Can I make additional investments on a monthly basis?

    Yes! You can invest monthly with each investment treated as a separate bond.

  • Could the investment be affected by currency fluctuations?

    No. Your investment is in £GBP with no exposure to other currencies and all interest is paid in £GBP.

  • Will I own company shares?

    No. Your IFISA is a corporate bond ultimately secured against company assets.

  • What happens if Fluid doesn’t lend money to the operating company?

    If for any reason your money is not lent to the project developer within 90 days of us receiving it, we will return the money to your account. In the unlikely event of this happening, you will not receive any interest on your capital.

    Your ISA is controlled from your personalised online dashboard; therefore, you can access it from anywhere in the world. The IF ISA is tax-free only in the United Kingdom, and you are responsible for your own tax affairs if you move to any other jurisdiction.

What happens to my Bonds if I Die?

    If you die while owning Bonds, your investment can be transferred to an authorised person acting on behalf of the estate. If you are acting on behalf of the estate of a deceased investor who owns Bonds, please email [mail@mgcs.com]

Can Fluid and/or the ISA manager change the Terms and Conditions?

    The terms and conditions are agreed once you have received the Information Memorandum and have signed-up for your ISA. These will not change for the term you hold your bond.

Can Fluid and/or the ISA manager close my ISA?

    Fluid and the ISA manager have a right to redeem the Bonds prior to their Redemption subject to the payment of principal Interest outstanding on the Bonds up to their Redemption Date.

Can Fluid and/or the ISA manager transfer my ISA to somebody else?

    Fluid and the ISA manager are not permitted to transfer the ISA to any other party, except in exceptional circumstances (see ‘What happens to my Bonds if I die?)

  • What is the Governing Law?

    The governing law is that of the United Kingdom.

  • What are Fluid Bond’s Liabilities?

    Fluid Bond’s only liabilities are to the bondholders.
